NOTE: Christmas 2010 delivery of machine quilting- all tops must be to the store by September 1, 2010.

Machine quilting is not an exact science. There are no guarantees of perfection from The Quilters Quarters on quilting services, only our promise to do our best with your quilt top. Quilting price is .02 ¢ per square inch of top with a minimum charge of $75 for overall quilting or edge to edge type quilting. Custom quilting is .04¢ per square inch with a minimum charge of $100.

All quilt tops should be square, pressed and all loose threads removed. Backings should be pieced and pressed. If The Quilters Quarters must piece the backing or press the top and/or backing, there is a $10 for each service that will be included in the final price. Batting from a roll is preferred, however, if you wish to use batting from a package (plastic bag), it should be understood that wrinkles from the package are very difficult to get flat and may not be completely smoothed out in quilting.

There is a $5 thread charge for each quilt that includes up to two thread colors, if you wish additional colors to be used there is a $5 thread charge per color change.

All actual shipping and insurance charges will apply in addition to services charged for quilting. The Quilters Quarters require that all quilts be sent with the appropriate insurance value when coming to us and they will have the value you indicate on your order form when we return the finished quilt to you.

Quilting takes approximately 3 weeks from when we receive the quilt top with your instructions.
